Do AI tools already know and trust you?
This is often the biggest piece, and no page scan can measure it. AI tools decide who to mention based on what the rest of the web says about you, not just your own site.
- Do ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI already mention you when people ask about what you do?
- How do they describe you, and is it accurate?
- Who do they recommend instead of you?
- What do reviews, press, directories and other sites say about you?
That's what a real audit covers. I check how AI tools answer your customers' questions, where you show up and where you don't, and what to fix first.
How I work out each answer
Yes, Partly or Not yet
- Yes: every check in that group looks good.
- Partly: something's worth fixing, but nothing stops AI tools outright.
- Not yet: something stops them, like Google being blocked, a noindex tag, or text that only loads with JavaScript.
Every check links to its source: documentation from Google, Bing, OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity or Cloudflare, or published research.
What this can't tell you
This is a quick check of one page, not a full audit. Some sites block checkers like this one, and I can't see exactly what crawlers see from their own networks. For the full picture, use URL Inspection in Google Search Console.

- Your reputation elsewhere: reviews, press, links and brand mentions.
- Whether your content answers the questions your customers ask.
- Every other page on your site. This checks one page at a time.
